The Year in Brief
Having lost a lot of senior members from both squads, this was seen as a year to rebuild the club. However, this has not stopped our success, and we remain a thriving club that has achieved a lot. A personal highlight at the end of my tenure was the 24-hour fundraising row, which raised over £1000 for the club.

Senate Cup - 26th October 2024 Women:
1st 4+ won first race, lost second race.
Men:
1st 4+ lost first race to Collingwood (Cup winners).
Durham Autumn Small Boats Head - 2nd November 2024 Men:
1st 4+ won Band 2 Op 4+s, 2nd fastest college.
2nd 4+ came 9th in Band 2.
Women:
1st 4+ came 7th in Band 1.
Novice Cup - 7th December 2024 Run on ergs due to adverse weather conditions.
Men:
Came 5th and 20th.
Rutherford Head - 30th November 2024 Men:
1st 4+ won College 4+ pennant.
1st VIII came 41st.
Women:
1st 4+ came 6th in Band 2, 3rd College crew.
2nd 4+ came 137th.
Tyne New Years Head - 25th January 2024 Women:
2nd VIII came 3rd in Band 4.
Men:
1st VIII came 17th, 5th College crew.
Tyne Head - 8th February 2025 Women:
1st VIII came 55th.. Alumni Race - 9th February 2025 Men:
HBBC VIII beat Armitage BC 4+ (despite their false start).

Women: 1st 4+ came 7th.
2nd 4+ came 20th.
Men: 1st 4+ came 22nd.
2nd 4+ came 27th.

1st VIII came 277th and 10th college crew. Derwentwater Head - 8th March 2025 Men:
1st VIII won Op 8+s and fastest Open crew of the day. 1st 4+ won Op 4+s (5th fastest crew of the day). Head of the River Race - 22nd March 2025 Men:
