Hild Bede Boat Club

Hild Bede Boat Club is one of the most established and competitive Durham College clubs, training on the River Wear. Founded in 1883, it is home to over 50 current athletes and a thriving alumni network. We take pride in our achievements, both locally and further afield, and we are entirely student-run by dedicated volunteers.

Located in the middle of the historic Durham Regatta Course, our prime location is the ideal spot to train whilst at university. Famous for our dominant rowing (and our sofas!), we are always looking to expand our club member base and we look forward to welcoming you to our squad!
